Internship Opportunity - The WHRO Development Office is offering an internship which is focused on fundraising and event planning for a leading nonprofit telecommunications company. This is a great opportunity to learn the administrative and organizational skills needed to survive and be successful in the nonprofit world. Applicants should have an interest in philanthropy, community development, or the nonproduction side of the telecommunications industry. Experience with MS Word and Excel is preferred. Our internships are unpaid; however, students can earn college credits based on approval of the college or university.

TV Operations Technician & TV Production Personnel – WHRO is seeking operations & production personnel who are interested in being considered for our database of people available to work in a temporary part-time capacity. These positions will perform operational and production duties including but not limited to Master Control, switching, camera shading, videotape editing, camera operator, teleprompter, director and still store –CG operations. WHRO INTERNSHIP PROGRAM- WHRO offers an internship program to juniors and seniors enrolled in a college or similar curriculum to which the internship applies. The purpose is to allow qualified and interested students an opportunity to gain practical experience in a career setting. These experiences can allow students to combine their educational pursuits with day-to-day operations of the communications and broadcasting industry. While some internships can be used for college credit, it is not mandatory.
Individuals may apply in the same way they would apply for a job. An internship application, resume and cover letter are required. The appropriate department head to determine eligibility for the internship will then interview the individuals.
